We are thrilled to congratulate Scott Newett for being chosen as a finalist in the National Portrait Prize. Such exciting news as he is 'one of our very own' being represented by Source Photographica. The work "Stormtroopers", is from the Talent Series and depicts 'a bunch of blokes with a distinct lack of talent'.

We love Scott's work, it's hyper-real whilst hinting at a narrative. It's also a typically Australian attitude where he leaves the viewer to make their own decisions about his work not caring what that might be whilst sharing his unique, contemporary, visual sense of humour. The National Portrait Prize is being held at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra 25th Feb - 26th April.
